Finance Systems & Operations Leader


We are currently seeking an Operations Leader/System Administrator to provide full back-end Workday support, including Business Process Management, report writing and data extraction for Amynta’s Workday Financials system. Additionally, this position will have a pivotal role in supporting and streamlining our Finance operations in the areas of FDM, Financial Accounting, Suppliers, Business Assets, Banking and Expenses. You will be responsible for supporting/troubleshooting day to day user issues as well as analyzing and recommending enhancements to data structures and business processes that have a direct impact on system configuration.



Key responsibilities include:


  • -          Manage day to day system / operations issues, manage severity assignments and set priorities for resolution

  • -          Create long term strategy for Finance system and Data structure governance

  • -          Work closely with Finance leadership to create and maintain shared standard business processes across Amynta’s various business units

  • -          Identify, recommend and track opportunities for process and operational improvements. Support Workday users in Finance by troubleshooting problems, answering questions, creating and/or modifying reports, and assisting in the creation of documentation as needed

  • -          Partner with HR, Finance, IT and other teams to design, prioritize and implement scalable new functionality

  • -          System governance and enhancements planning for Workday Financials

  • -          Configure, test & maintain Workday Financials – FDM, Financial Accounting, Suppliers, Business Assets, Banking and Expenses

  • -          Coordinate with HR Systems and Operations leader with respect to overall system planning and governance and cross-module processes



Job Requirements:



  • -          Expert Knowledge of Workday or other Finance systems including Business Processes around Financial Accounting, Suppliers, Business Assets, Banking and Expenses; experience in Workday reporting, knowledge of EIB.

  • -          Workday Financials Partner Certification preferred

  • -          Capable of writing Standard, Advanced, Matrix and Composite reports. Experience with creating complex calculated fields, custom objects.

  • -          Ability to troubleshoot and solution user / process issues and support the month end close process in Workday

  • -          Must be experienced user of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint; In Excel, must have ability to create pivot tables, vlookups).

  • -          Excellent communication skills at all levels of management

Job Requirements

Preferred Skills:


-          Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Accounting, Information Systems or Computer Science
-          5 – 10 years of business experience, of which 3-5 supporting or working with financial systems
-          Excellent understanding of Finance and Accounting business processes
-          Strong verbal and written communication skills
-          Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing, multiple priorities
-          Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
-          Ability to work through complex issues and challenges and present business stakeholders with clear options for solutioning
