Job Description

The Amynta Group is searching for a dynamic and dedicated Software Engineer for their Cleveland, OH location.

We're looking for a motivated individual with the ability to handle enhancements and bug fixes on existing code projects and assist on new projects while having the ability to evolve into a primary role in the future. You will have the opportunity to directly work with the business on timelines, requirements and identifying enhancements to applications. This person will maintain work items in Agile sprints through Azure DevOps and keep information current for team leaders and supervisors. You will use C# and .NET Framework, SQL, and client side scripting frameworks like JQuery and Angular. ASP.NET (MVC) and ASP.NET. WebAPI will be the primary web application framework used. 

Responsibilities

  • Handle enhancements and bug fixes on existing code projects, and assist on new projects as approved
  • May evolve into a primary role on a web application handling builds and all incoming enhancements and bug fixes
  • Work with business analysts to discuss timelines, and clarify requirements for project work
  • Write SQL queries and stored procedures
  • Use Angular and other client scripting tools to help enhance the front end of ASP.NET web sites
  • Manage code changes using Git source control
  • Participate in steering committee meetings to discuss business requirements and timelines
  • Refactor existing code to improve code quality
  • Conduct and participate in code reviews

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of object oriented development concepts
  • 2-4 years of experience preferred
  • Experience with C# and .NET Framework preferred
  • College Degree is desirable (preferably in technical or related field)
  • Self Starter/Motivated
  • Team Oriented
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Knowledge with client side scripting frameworks (JQuery, Angular) is desirable
  • .NET experience (MVC especially) is desirable
  • .NET WebAPI experience is desirable
