Job Description

The Regional Sales Representative Role Scope:

The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for following a standard set of sales strategies, practices, and systems to drive company growth and revenue within the assigned region or markets as well as for the entire company.This position reports to the Vice President of Strategic Development

Essential Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Sales Prospecting - Expected to manage and execute to a sales planning cycle to pursue sales opportunities within the region and or market segment assigned.

Business Building with Dealers - Expected to develop programs, materials, and methods to help build our business with dealers, suppliers and target market segments.

Sales Account Management - Expected to directly manage and oversee sales accounts across your assigned region to ensure growth and revenue targets are achieved.

Continuous improvement and personal growth - Expected to develop sales and professional skills in order to grow the business.

CRM Utilization and Documentation - Expected to document all phases of the sales process to ensure a managed sales approach in the company systems.

Job Requirements

Minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in sales including the following experience and competencies:

  • Degree preferred but not required
  • Experience in the agricultural industry is preferred
  • Must have direct sales process experience.
  • Direct experience in marketing and sales promotions.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and sales growth methodologies domestic and/or international.
  • Must have the ability to develop strong relationships with clients, OEM’s, regional managers and sales agents to drive sales growth.
  • Must understand and have the ability to learn how our equipment and methods can benefit the industry that we serve.
  • Required to develop the industry knowledge to become a “Business Builder” and educator to our dealer network, OEM’s and customers.
  • Must have experience in the development of sales regions and global markets.
  • Required to have strong analytical skills to perform market/industry research to be used to develop a more predictable managed sales approach.
  • Must be self-managed and driven to achieve measurable results
  • Must be hands on with a high level of drive, energy and integrity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
