Job Description

AmTrust Financial Specialty Equipment Insurance Services (an Amynta Group Company) is hiring a Regional Sales Representative to work within our Agricultural and Construction Equipment Dealer network to represent our Dealer Package/Business Insurance product.  The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for the sale of business insurance products to equipment dealerships and other targeted classes of business.  The Dealer Package/Business Insurance products include Commercial Property/Casualty, General Liability, Vehicles, Inventory, Employment Practices, Workers’ Compensation and ancillary business insurance products.  The successful candidate will enjoy a lucrative compensation plan with excellent growth potential, in a very rewarding territory including the states of:  ND, SD, NE, KS, MN, IA & WI.





Principal Duties



  • Developing, implementing, and managing an annual business plan to achieve sales objectives



  • Planning and executing the day-to-day activities necessary to achieve sales objectives



  • Initiating contacts with dealership owners and key managers, obtaining submission information, diagnosing business insurance needs, creating ACORDs and quote submission information, reviewing quotes and policies for accuracy, negotiating pricing with underwriters, making sales presentations, offering solutions to customer’s insurance needs, closing sales, and providing services after the sale



  • Providing feedback and recommendations regarding business insurance sales initiatives, marketing challenges, and opportunities



  • Completing and submitting, on a timely and accurate basis, required sales activity reports



  • Working effectively with assigned Business Insurance Account Executive



Job Requirements

Position Requirements


    • 2+ years sales experience in the Dealer Package/Business Insurance environment





  • 2+ years experience in the heavy equipment and/or auto industry either with a dealer, finance company, or other similar organization

  • 2+ years experience in Business to Business (B2B) sales

  • Self-starter, strong communications skills, and a proven track record of sales success

  • Sales experience with Agricultural and Construction Equipment Dealerships, or related field

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, marketing, or a related field preferred

  • Travel Required

  • Lucrative Territory, Upper Mid-West
