Job Description:

This position has responsibility for providing sales support, customer service and administration of CNH Insurance Agency business insurance products and programs for the CNH equipment dealership network and other businesses as designated and directed.

Providing Dealer Package (commercial property and casualty and Workers Compensation insurance) sales support and services to in-force policyholders of CNH branded agricultural and construction equipment dealerships and others that the Agency possesses or pursues.

Communicate effectively and accurately with dealership clients, various insurance carrier representatives such as underwriters, their managers, carrier claim and risk management personnel, our Agency business insurance sales representatives(BISR’s) and Manager as well as other internal CNH Insurance Agency employees and management.

As necessary, initiate contact with clients to develop and maintain strong relationships that promote and drive business retention and expansion.

Create new and renewal Dealer Package quote submissions each month by completing new business insurance applications for property, inland marine, general liability, commercial crime, commercial auto, workers compensation, umbrella liability, EPLI, pollution coverage and any other coverages as needed.

Prepare and assist BISR's with their new and renewal business insurance sales proposals each month.

Share in responsibility for meeting new business and existing business retention sales goals.

Counsel clients and make recommendations on matters of insurance coverage.

Review new and renewal policies to confirm coverage and pricing accuracy.

Assist clients with filing claims with insurance carriers.

Answer client billing and audit inquiries.

Effectively utilize the Agency management system (Applied Systems TAM© The Agency Manager software) to document coverage changes and handle client service requests such as certificates of insurance, vehicle ID cards, coverage binders, ACORD applications, etc.

Contribute to client stewardship planning and delivery of services.

Assist with providing data and key metrics reporting to Agency mgmt.

Assist with development and administration of sales leads including online digital prospecting, research, and mass marketing.

Acquire awareness and familiarity with all our other Agency insurance products and services.

Learn to leverage Agency colleague and Agency business partner relationships with prospective and existing clients and service providers to promote and drive business retention and expansion and cross-selling of other Agency insurance products and services.

Job Requirements


  • Minimum of two years of commercial property and casualty insurance client service experience, or work experience as an insurance agency Account Manager/CSR.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, however, equivalent work experience may substitute. Professional insurance designations such as CPCU, CIC, ARM,CRM, CISR or AU a plus.

  • Broad knowledge of commercial insurance lines of business such as property, inland marine, crime, general liability, commercial auto, workers compensation, umbrella, EPLI and pollution.

  • Experience with completing new and renewal quote submissions for commercial insurance products.

  • Experience with preparing insurance sales proposals.

  • Experience with negotiating and working with insurance company underwriters and their management team.

  • Experience interacting with insurance carrier claims and loss control personnel and their mgmt.

  • Ability to explain complex insurance concepts to clients in a simplified manner.

  • Applicant must have and maintain a current state of WI property and casualty insurance license.

  • Self-starter that possesses a positive attitude, takes initiative, values achievement and is goal oriented.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and with internal Agency sales team.

  • Highly effective oral and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Applied Systems TAM Insurance Agency Management System and Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software required.

  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software desired.

  • Skills in using Skype for Business, Go To Meeting, Webex or other digital online meeting, communication, and webinar software tools valued.
